A fun and festive dip perfect for Halloween parties, made with creamy white queso and vibrant green food coloring for a spooky twist.

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf of French Bread
  • 1 can/jar of White Queso Cheese
  • Neon Green Food Coloring
  • Optional: Black food marker or toothpick
  • Optional: Black food coloring

Instructions

  1. Heat the white queso cheese in a microwave-safe bowl or on the stovetop until it’s smooth and creamy. Stir occasionally to avoid scorching.
  2. Color the cheese by adding drops of neon green food coloring to the warm queso, mixing until you achieve your desired shade.
  3. Prepare the bread by slicing it if it’s not pre-sliced. Use a nose-shaped cookie cutter to cut out shapes from the slices.
  4. Butter the tops of the nose-shaped bread pieces and place them on a baking sheet.
  5. Toast in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 5 minutes, or longer for extra toasting. Remove and let cool slightly.
  6. Optional: Use a toothpick dipped in black food coloring to dab nostril effects onto the bread.
  7. Serve the zombie noses with the gooey, green queso dip and enjoy!

Notes

Monitor the heat while heating the queso to prevent burning. Start with few drops of food coloring to adjust the desired hue.
