A fun and playful twist on healthy snacks, turning ordinary kiwis into cute, spooky faces that are perfect for Halloween.

Ingredients

  • 4 ripe kiwis
  • 1/2 cup dark or semi-sweet chocolate chips (for pupils)
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • Green food coloring (optional)
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds (for bolts)

Instructions

  1. Halve the kiwis carefully cut each kiwi in half lengthwise, creating two halves that will serve as the base for Frankenstein’s face.
  2. Add a dollop of whipped cream onto each kiwi half, shaping the cream into circular forms for the eyes.
  3. Insert chocolate chips into the whipped cream to serve as pupils, giving your Frankenstein faces a lively look.
  4. Attach sliced almonds on the sides of the kiwi to resemble bolts, arranging them at a slight angle for a more realistic effect.
  5. Color the cream (optional) by mixing a few drops of green food coloring into the whipped cream before placing it on the kiwis for an enhanced Halloween theme.

Notes

Choose ripe kiwis for easy cutting and a juicy taste. Don’t over-whip your cream; it should hold shape but still be soft.
