A delightful blend of tender chicken, creamy cheese, and al dente pasta, enveloped in a rich marinara sauce.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta (such as penne or fusilli)
  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Fresh basil, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Boil the pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken, seasoning with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  3. Pour marinara sauce into the skillet with the chicken. Stir well and let it simmer for a few minutes.
  4. Add the drained pasta to the skillet, tossing gently to coat.
  5. Sprinkle the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses over the pasta. Cover the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbling.
  6. Remove from heat and garnish with fresh basil before serving warm.

Notes

Don’t overcook the pasta. Use quality cheese for better melt and texture.
